Took a trip over to Shenandoah Park and cruised down Skyline Drive. What amazing views of the forests and hills in Virginia. While walking along the Appalachian Trail, I managed to see a black bear about 10 yards away — pretty nuts! Definitely worth visiting.

Saturday, July 25th, 2009Tried to see a Nats game (Washington Nationals vs St. Louis Cardinals), but it ended up getting rained out after 5 innings. Ended up around our nation’s capital and happened to see Obama’s helicopter land at the White House!

Surfing in South Padre
